we believe...

The chorus was founded under the premise that every individual voice, no matter how skilled or strong brings a distinctive perspective to an ensemble. In forming a chorus that is developmentally, artistically, and intellectually appropriate for young singers, we offer the children of Albuquerque an inclusive means of musically expressing his or her voice in an environment that affirms and celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of each child.

The UNM Children's Chorus is housed in the Department of Music of the University of New Mexico and is an affiliated program with the Univeristy of New Mexico Music Prep School.
